New Swap!!!

I just signed up for this swap this morning. I think I might be slightly addicted to these swaps...is that a bad thing?

Updates!

Here are a couple of pics of the goodies I sent out in my recent swap. You had to decorate an Altoid sized tin and fill it with some goodies. I decided to turn mine into an ornament. Gotta love the Crop-a-dile tool to punch through metal like butta! I was inspired by my swap partner being engaged, to make this a dreamy and sorta romantic inspired tin. Then you got to fill it with little treasures. It's amazing how many little goodies you can stuff in a tin of that size.

I also finished my tags for my other swap. Very interesting to completely finish both sides of the tag. It was alot of work, but really fun. Here is a tray full of little witches. I'm glad I picked up this old lunch tray at the thrift for 99 cents. It has already served it's purpose well. And here's a peak at the other side of the tag.
I can't show you the other goodies I made yet. Want those to be a surprise to the recipients. I just mailed them out on Saturday...a couple more days and then I can show you.

Swaps...

I joined these two swaps today. That's one way of getting my butt in the creative mode. More to come on these soon. I plan on cleaning up more of the studio this weekend. I need to get the boxes outta there and get the creative mojo in.

Halloween goodies...

I came home from my trip on Halloween to so many fun goodies. The first package I opened was from my friend Michele M. Enclosed was this neato altered book - The official handbook of Ghosts, Goblins and Ghouls.

The next goodie was a card from my gal pal Bev. Bev's card is the one on the left. The one on the right was enclosed in Michele's package.

My next package was from my swap partner Chrissy from the 12 Days of Halloween swap. Each day was individually wrapped - since I didn't get home till Halloween, I had fun unwrapping them all that night - in order of course.I was amazed by all these little handmade paper stars that were in the bag.
Now here's the goods! Everything came in the hand sewn pumpkin felt bag. Hand sewn stocking, mutant bunny and sock monkey. Vintage photos! Skeleton straws, suckers, stickers and patches. Some great pumpkin and cat fabric, a banner, a batty canvas and a spectacularly spooky flower and skeleton hands pin.

This swap was super fun and it makes me want to do another swap, but with Christmas closer than I want - ugh....to many things to attempt to make. I thought about buying my Christmas cards this year to save time - but that seems almost sac religious to me. Guess I better hop to it!

12 Days of Halloween Swap...

Here's a peek at the 12 Days of Halloween swap that I'm participating in. You wrap 12 individual presents to open every day up until Halloween - fun!

Lots of fun goodies that were shipped out Saturday. I just love that crow - I need to make one for myself.

I'll post pics of my goodies once I receive them.

Artsy Autumn Swap...

I almost forgot about posting pics of the goodies I sent and the goodies I received from the Autumn Artsy Swap. Here are some of the goodies I sent to Janice my swap partner:

This is a little 2x2 inch banner that I made - this was so fun and fast to whip up.
Here's a close up of the detail.
Here's the bigger pennant banner. Here's the box full of all the goodies that were shipped off.

I recieved all of my treasures from Janice in this really cute decorated fabric box. All of the images are printed on fabric. Love the broach.
I love this big tag and hanger. They both have natural mica on them - I have never used that yet, but I'm so ready to order some. Also there is a cute decorated little blank book.
On top of the pin cushion is a really great bracelet with a bird charm decorating the middle and another bird charm laying down that Janice made. Some great vintage cards, a charm and a neato stamp. I can't wait to play with that!
