Halloween goodies...

I came home from my trip on Halloween to so many fun goodies. The first package I opened was from my friend Michele M. Enclosed was this neato altered book - The official handbook of Ghosts, Goblins and Ghouls.

The next goodie was a card from my gal pal Bev. Bev's card is the one on the left. The one on the right was enclosed in Michele's package.

My next package was from my swap partner Chrissy from the 12 Days of Halloween swap. Each day was individually wrapped - since I didn't get home till Halloween, I had fun unwrapping them all that night - in order of course.I was amazed by all these little handmade paper stars that were in the bag.
Now here's the goods! Everything came in the hand sewn pumpkin felt bag. Hand sewn stocking, mutant bunny and sock monkey. Vintage photos! Skeleton straws, suckers, stickers and patches. Some great pumpkin and cat fabric, a banner, a batty canvas and a spectacularly spooky flower and skeleton hands pin.

This swap was super fun and it makes me want to do another swap, but with Christmas closer than I want - ugh....to many things to attempt to make. I thought about buying my Christmas cards this year to save time - but that seems almost sac religious to me. Guess I better hop to it!

Another hole in the head...

So I've been talking to myself for the last year or so about wanting another piercing - so while in Louisiana I finally did it.

I got my nose pierced! Go ahead swinch up your nose. I love it! Yes it hurt just like someone was shoving a needle through my nose into a cork - yes it felt exactly like that. But I like it so much that the pain was totally worth it.

I think I started to drive the guys crazy talking about it and if I wouldn't have done it they might have forcibly pierced it for me. But they put up with me - what pals.

Here's a pic of me and my pal Johnny Ray. Johnny Ray was ultimately the one who accompanied me to the piercer. I was scared to go it alone. Although he opted out of watching the actually piercing.
