I have so much to share in this post!

First of all I can finally show you the full pictures of the little potion bottles I made. There were pretty quick to whip up. I found the labels on flickr and the bottle for a quarter each at the flea market. I'm a sucker for old bottles - so I bought the whole box of 30. I used some torn "mummy" wrap I found in the cotume section, some beads and ink. Fun!

Next let me show you the cute tin & goodies that I recieved from my swap partner Amy. It came wrapped in cordoroy, tied with twine. It was all in an Autumn theme, that I love. There was so much stuffed inside that it literally jumped out at me when I opened the lid. My favorite thing tucked inside was a silver charm that says "Art Saves Lives".
Yesterday, I ran to the local flea market in search of some cabinet cards. We have a great couple set up there that has thousands of postcards and some old photos too. I knew exactly what I was looking for and they had it. I was in need of cabinet cards for my newest swap. Here are the goodies I found there. Best part about them - they were only 50 cents each!

I found some other unexpected goodies there too. I'm glad I braved the cold to look at the tables outside. I found some amazing cheap deals. I got vintage velvet leaves for 75 & 50 cents, milinery flowers bunches for 50 cents each, velvet & lace ribbon for 25 cents and gold label medalions for 50 cents. SCORE!!! Then I found something I was been searching for - a Coke crate. I've found them on e-bay, but didn't want to pay the shipping fee, they are quite heavy. I wanted one to match the Pepsi crate I have, to make a shelf out of. I have them hanging in my dining room to house my old bottles.

I got in crafty mode last night and made this sign for a friends baby shower. They are waiting to see what they are having, so I tried to make it as neutral as I could. I love that vintage postcard image. There will be more craftiness to come, I still need to make a card and some free babysitting coupons.

The bottles are awesome!!! I love mine-witch hazel-trying to tell me something-Hmmmm? You really are rocking your studio-isn't it great to have a dedicated place to work? While I was away last week,my sister and I went to an antique place and I was so excited to find 2 really great cabinet cards (I'll use one for the swap) I paid $5 a piece for them...then I read your post-$.50 you paid. WOW! I need to shop with you! Hope you're feeling OK. My evil disease is finally starting to subside somewhat. This fall has been a bust healthwise for me! xoxo
